Game 4 and 5 Recaps, Game 6 Preview

April 20 - Houston took on the Columbus Brigade in Ohio's capital in week 4. Columbus eeked out a close victory, just edging Houston 135-132. The Stronghold took the loss in a tough way, and came out guns a blazin' in week 5. High scorer for Houston was Adron Tennell with 41 points.

April 27 - Houston scored the most points in franchise history last week. Putting up a whopping 202 points on the Omaha Monarchs. Even without Rodney Wright Jr. in the game the Stronghold put up big numbers, including a high score with 66 points by Bernard Morris. This win improved the Stronghold to 2-1 at the Toyota Center this season.

Week 6 Preview

Houston sends out the same lineup as last week, and hopes to have the same turnout too. This time the team travels to Seattle in a rematch of the season opener. Game simulator predicts Houston winning by 15 against the Reds.

Game 3 Update and Game 4 Preview

4/13/2013 - The Stronghold picked up their second win of the season on Saturday. This is the team's first home win, and they barely edged out the Phoenix Soldiers 130-129. Even though they had two wide receivers out, Adron Tennell put the team on his back and scored 49 points to lead the team to a victory. Houston is now 2-1 second in the Brown Division behind San Antonio. The Stronghold will take on the Columbus Brigade on Saturday in Columbus.

Houston sends out their strongest starting lineup of the season so far in Columbus(1-2) this week. Dominick Goodman is back this week, and new addition Rodney wright Jr. will take the field in his debut for Houston. Week 1 update. The Stronghold pull out with a win in their first game in team history. The Stronghold beat Seattle 119-113 in Seattle on March 31st. Two big scoring efforts by QB Aaron Garcia and WR Adron Tennell lead the way to victory for Houston.

Week 2 update. The Stronghold lose to San Antonio in their first ever home game. A really poor performance by QB Kyle Rowley lead to the Stronghold's loss on April 5th. Adron Tennell was the leading scorer with 39 points.
